On November 15, 2012 the American Cancer Society is launching its 37th Great American Smokeout. This day is dedicated to encouraging smokers to quit or make plans to quit—a great step towards a healthier lifestyle1. Although 43.8 million Americans still smoke cigarettes, smoking is the largest preventable cause of disease and premature death in the US1.

Because it can be extremely difficult to quit smoking, the American Cancer Society has provided tips on how to quit, the benefits of quitting, and most importantly why you should quit. In addition to needing the support of friends and family, many smokers can also benefit from prescription drugs to ease side-effects of quitting.  To that end, Coast2Coast Rx offers is a great way to save money on some of those drugs including Zyban, Chantix, Wellbutrin and Bupropion.

Get ready for the Great American Smokeout and challenge yourself, family and friends to stop smoking. Giving up on smoking not only helps offers health and financial benefits but Coast2Coast can also help you save money on prescription medications to help you quit. Coast2Coast is always in support of keeping healthy habits and applauds the work of the American Cancer Society. On November 15th it’s time to take control of your life and start on the journey to a new and healthier you!
